Our library has established this digital archiving platform to integrate precious collections, including historical newspapers, ancient documents, Japanese books from the colonial period, and local literature. This platform provides readers with a convenient portal for online searching and resource utilization.
Picture Books of NLPI
This database archives over 1,400 picture book titles, featuring award-winning masterpieces, works showcasing local cultural characteristics, and creative student projects. The platform offers diverse reading and interactive functions—such as text hiding, audio narration, and Hanyu Pinyin—allowing users to switch between different co-reading modes. Combined with reading level classifications and teaching resources, it is an ideal tool for classroom instruction and parent-child reading.
Digital Art Design Gallery
Developed independently by our library, this is Taiwan's first thematic digital platform dedicated to archiving outstanding works from university design departments. The platform covers a wide array of design fields, including graphic visual design, product and industrial design, digital multimedia design, architectural and interior design, and craft and fine arts design, showcasing the diverse creativity and energy of Taiwan’s next generation of designers.
Video On Demand – NLPI Media Center
The platform offers over 5,000 audiovisual resources across 13 categories, including lectures and curated programs, available for online viewing anytime.
E-Resources System
Our E-Resources System offers nearly 100 online resources, making learning easy anytime, anywhere.
E-Book Online Service
The library offers a diverse collection of e-books, currently exceeding 50,000 titles and 460,000 volumes in multiple languages, including Chinese and English. Readers can access these resources online anytime, free of charge.
This service is compatible with computers, laptops, and mobile devices (iOS and Android) through the iLib Reader app, providing a 24/7 uninterrupted reading environment. With an internet connection, users can easily enter the digital knowledge platform and start reading instantly.
Media and Information Literacy
With a core mission to enhance public information literacy and safeguard the right to information access, our library continuously promotes information education and outreach services. Through courses, workshops, and promotional activities, we cover topics ranging from copyright concepts and digital ethics to online information interpretation and verification. We help the public develop the ability to use information correctly, identify misinformation, and improve their digital application skills in the modern age.
iTeaching (Online Thematic Courses)
This platform provides online thematic courses, creating a flexible learning environment for secondary school students and adults. We invite domestic experts and industry instructors to teach across various fields—including education, personal growth, financial management, technical skills, tech trends, language learning, and inquiry-based research. These courses transform professional expertise into accessible lessons, complemented by our library's diverse e-books and digital databases.
